September full return update

Dear parents/carers,

We welcome the Welsh Government announcement last week that all pupils will return to school in September. We are looking forward to seeing all of our pupils again and ensuring they get back in their lives the routine of school, seeing their friends, making progress in their learning and so much more. Our pupils who have attended these past three weeks have all commented how nice it is to be back in school and wish they could have been in more.

However, I can imagine for many of us, this is may be an anxious time and I want to reassure you that we have seen success these past three weeks with over half of our pupils returning to school to check in, catch up and prepare. I believe this success has been down to the level of detail within the planning and we will ensure that same time and effort goes into planning the reopening for all. We are currently putting final details into our Risk Assessment for September, finalising timetables, arrival/collection times and making some slight adjustments to our current systems to ensure we can cater for the safe return of all.

Towards the end of this week we will be sending our an updated parent/carer pack containing all information mentioned above and more via all of our communication systems (email, this app, website and Twitter), which will provide you with the key information you need for September's return to school.

In the meantime, if you have any questions in regards to the return, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to support in anyway we can.

Best Wishes,
Stephen Thomas
Headteacher
