School Improvement Priorities for 23/24

Through a robust process of regular monitoring including, discussions with learners, looking at books, looking for learning observations, parent/pupil/staff/Governors surveys and learning walks, the following areas have been identified that will be a focus for the school during this academic year.

  • To further improve most pupils’ Welsh oracy and reading skills through ensuring consistency in the delivery and quality of teaching across the school


  • To develop a strong culture of professional learning in identifying the leadership potential of staff and supporting subject leads roles across the school


  • To improve attendance across the school and close the gap between pupils identified as FSM and non-FSM


  • To further develop opportunities for Science and Technology
